If I am a rock
Time erodes me
And shapes me anew
So if you leave
You may not recognize
Me
If I am a lake
The world sux me dry
Taking what it needs
And alters my shores so
You may not recognize
Me
If I am gold
They will chip at me
My wealth for their taking
Until I shine no more where
You may not recognize
Me
If I am a tree
I will bend until
I finally break
And choke from the air
Left by those who don't care until
You may not recognize
Me
