Gone is the memory of melody
Gone are the dogs barking in the wind
Gone is all the suffering inspired of pain living in the shadows of laughter
And sad songs in all that was and is now all...gone
Gone is the soul put on hold
Gone is the shaking of old bones
Gone is the lost and lonely feeling of a familiar spell that I was once under
And the joy of living in all that was and is now all...gone
Gone are the lines of drenched city grids
Gone are the rabbits from the forest
Gone is the dance of natives in mountains choked by air lofty and cold living so high
And the lost hope in all that was and is now all ...gone
Gone is water from tired eyes
Gone are stains from a stone table
Gone is the fear in a heart of one who was afraid of the things once lost to time now found
And fortunes found in all that was and is now all...gone
Gone is the lust of one at sixteen
Gone is the time of tired youth
Gone is the relentless rise and fall from one asleep inside a second story window
And fires burning in all that was and is now all...gone
Gone is the moss on the stone
Gone is fire from the diet
Gone are the sacrifices made in the spirit of goodwill from days remembered well
And a sun rises in all that was and is now all...gone
