CENTER LINE, Mich. - A man tried to kill a spider
at a gas station using a lighter causing a dangerous fire that
quickly engulfed the gas pump.
Listen to me, both
far and near,
I know something
about what people fear.
Not much brings more
anxiety and dread,
Than to see a live
spider, one that's far from dead.
In Center Line,
Michigan stands a noble gas station,
Tis the locale of
today's altercation.
Upon his car he
found a small spider,
So scared was he
that he grabbed his Bic lighter.
Not sure what was
going on in his wee lizard brain,
It's clear that for
him he let his fear reign.
Setting his car
ablaze he pulled out the nozzle,
When the pump then
caught fire he screamed something awful.
He pulled his car
forward and extinguished the fire,
It's unsure what
became of the treacherous spider.
The pump was all
charred, it went up in smoke,
Let his fear of
eight legs become a big joke!
So remember that gas
doesn't mix with stupidity,
It catches fire with
sparks or from static electricity.
When filling up gas,
you encounter an arachnid,
Just stay calm, cool
and not over reactive!
