Soaring through the air
Planes so loud
They make me want to stare
The engines roar
The wings lift
The rudders move
The flight is swift

Planes in clouds
Passing overhead
Overcast shrouds
Infinitely spread
Fluffy white
Grey with rain
Moving fast
Cloudy bane


Planes in clouds
Off to foreign lands
Enthusiasts soughed
Ignoring flight's demands
I want to see
But I cannot
Hear the metal birds
Impossible to spot
