Tracie is among the
redwood trees
In a forest fresh
with wooded breeze
Her smile lights up
ever so bright
Making for a magical
site
We’ll sit and eat
blackberries so sweet
We’ll warm
ourselves by fireside heat
They come from so
near and so far
They come to nibble
from her cookie jar
Tracie was so warm
and so caring
Knew all about
giving and sharing
Her time with us was
not long enough
Without her here,
the going is rough
But when we feel
alone and so sad
Because we miss the
times that we had
Just close your eyes
and feel the breeze
For Tracie’s
alight in the redwood trees.
